DESCRIPTION
LaCosa is a production company based in Barcelona with whom I have been working for many years. They partnered with McCann-Craft to secure a one-year contract with Nescafé, which required them to move away from traditional static keynote presentations in order to capture full attention. And that’s exactly what we did!
I was in charge of the full project from branding to web design, web programming, illustration and motion graphics, and we had to manage to have it all in less than one month.
All in motion
Motion graphics played a crucial role in this web project because the client was specifically seeking an interactive and modern presentation. By incorporating motion graphics, we were able to bring the website to life and create a dynamic user experience. The use of animated elements, transitions, and visual effects added an engaging and interactive touch to the presentation, capturing the attention of visitors and making the content more memorable. Motion graphics not only enhanced the overall aesthetic appeal of the website but also effectively conveyed information and key messages in a visually appealing and engaging manner. That’s how the website welcomed the readers:
Graphic identity
To create the graphic identity for the project, we used Nescafé’s brand colors as a starting point. These colors served as the foundation for the overall visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand.
In addition to the colors, we employed simple iconography to complement the brand’s messaging and enhance visual communication. The use of clean and minimalistic icons helped convey information concisely and intuitively, making them move by themselves or as the reader interacted with them.
To elevate the visual appeal and add a touch of sophistication, we integrated high-end images into the graphic identity. By incorporating high-quality imagery for the section titles, we were able to enhance the overall visual impact of the brand identity and create a sense of premium quality.
One page
For this project, it was essential to have a one-page website that followed the presentation and presented information in a hierarchical order. The decision to opt for a single page was driven by the need to create a streamlined and cohesive user experience, allowing visitors to access all the relevant information without navigating through multiple pages.
Additionally, we implemented smooth scrolling and anchor links to enable users to navigate effortlessly between sections. This provided a seamless browsing experience, allowing users to jump to the relevant section with just a click.
